The Quotable Mister Gallagher

With Noel Gallagher joining Damon Albarn and Graham Coxon onstage last week at the Royal Albert Hall for a sing-a-long-a Britpop version of Blur's Tender, the NME were never going to be far away.

Say what you like about Gallagher, his dull bludgeon wit often leaves great quotes behind amid the verbal carnage. We love this one from this week's NME, on his unexpected buddy act with former foe Albarn…

"It turns out he's quite a congenial fella… It's almost like, what was all the fuss about, back in those days when we were all screaming drug addicts mouthing off at each other."

The full story is in this week's NME, see www.nme.com for more.

In the meantime, here's the moment when the hatchet was buried… is there any other night when having paul Weller on drums is the secondary story?
